Regina Schaffer
has performed around the Bay Area as a soloist, accompanist and ensemble member since moving here in 2001. She has also been teaching piano since 1997. She received her Bachelor's of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Master's in Piano Performance and Literature from Mills College where she was able to focus on new and experimental music. At Mills College, Regina studied contemporary performance practice with avant-garde percussion legend William Winant and performed with his ensemble on keyboards.
